Terms &
Conditions
Welcome to Car Rental Wala. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting a rental enquiry or proceeding with a vehicle rental. Understanding the terms helps you make an informed decision before your journey begins.
Our Terms & Conditions
These guidelines explain important points about rental enquiries, vehicle eligibility, charges, documents and customer responsibilities.
These Terms & Conditions (βTermsβ) are intended to govern the use of the Car Rental Wala website and the process of making enquiries about self-drive car rentals. In these Terms, βCar Rental Wala,β βwe,β βourβ and βusβ refer to the website or service operating under that name, while βyouβ and βcustomerβ refer to a visitor or person making an enquiry or arranging a rental.
By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read these Terms. A website enquiry alone does not create a confirmed reservation or guarantee that a particular vehicle is available. The final rental arrangement, including the provider’s applicable terms, must be reviewed and agreed before the vehicle is handed over.
Please contact us if any provision is unclear. Where a separate written rental agreement applies, its specific conditions should be read together with these website terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded by this page.
Important Things to Know
Review these key points before making a rental enquiry.
Enquiry Is Not Confirmation
A WhatsApp message is a request for information. Vehicle availability and booking status must be confirmed separately.
Valid Documents
Drivers must satisfy applicable licence, age, identity and other eligibility requirements for the specific rental.
Confirm All Charges
Ask for the total price, deposit, kilometre allowance, extra-kilometre charges and any additional fees before agreeing.
Use the Car Responsibly
Follow traffic laws, rental restrictions, vehicle instructions and the agreed return conditions.
Ask About Cancellation
Cancellation, rescheduling, refunds and deposit deductions depend on the terms disclosed for the particular booking.
Keep Written Records
Retain your agreed quotation, payment receipts, rental terms and relevant messages for reference.
Terms Governing Your Rental Enquiry
Read the relevant sections carefully. Confirm any provider-specific conditions before paying or collecting a vehicle.
01 Website Use and Acceptance
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when contacting Car Rental Wala. Do not misuse the website, submit fraudulent enquiries, impersonate another person, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access to its systems.
Information on this website is intended to help visitors understand rental options and make enquiries. Any service-specific agreement must be reviewed separately before a booking is considered final.
02 Enquiries and Booking Confirmation
Customers may contact us using the website form, WhatsApp or email. Please provide the intended pickup location, dates, preferred vehicle category, trip duration and other relevant details so the enquiry can be understood.
Submitting a form, clicking a WhatsApp button, receiving an automated message or discussing a vehicle does not by itself confirm a booking. A reservation should be treated as confirmed only after the relevant provider or authorised representative communicates acceptance and the applicable booking conditions have been agreed.
Do not assume that a vehicle is reserved until you receive clear confirmation. If a requested model is unavailable, an alternative should only be accepted with your agreement.
03 Vehicle Availability and Descriptions
Vehicle models, categories, seating capacity, transmission, fuel type, features and photographs are provided for general guidance where available. Specifications can vary by model year, variant and individual vehicle.
A vehicle shown or mentioned on the website may not be available in every city or on every date. Availability must be checked for the customer’s actual travel requirements. We do not promise a specific vehicle, feature or delivery location unless it has been explicitly confirmed in the relevant booking agreement.
04 Driver Eligibility and Documents
The person driving the vehicle must meet the legal and provider-specific eligibility requirements applicable to the rental. These may include minimum age, a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle, identity verification and additional documentation.
Customers must supply genuine, valid documents when required and must not use another person’s documents without lawful authority. Requirements can vary according to the provider, vehicle and location. Confirm the exact requirements before making payment or travelling to collect the vehicle.
A booking may be declined or delayed if mandatory eligibility requirements are not satisfied, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
05 Rental Price, Taxes and Additional Charges
Rental prices may depend on the vehicle, location, dates, duration, season, mileage allowance, provider and other booking conditions. Any indicative prices displayed on the website are estimates unless explicitly identified as a confirmed quotation.
Before agreeing to a booking, ask for a written breakdown of the rental amount and applicable taxes or fees, if any. Clarify:
- The rental duration and permitted pickup and return times.
- The included kilometre allowance and extra-kilometre rate.
- Fuel or charging responsibilities and return requirements.
- Any delivery, late-return, cleaning, toll, parking or other applicable charges.
- Whether any optional protection, insurance excess or other amount applies.
No additional charge should be assumed from a general estimate alone. The charges applicable to your rental should be explained before you accept the terms.
06 Security Deposit and Payments
A security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle and rental provider. Its amount, accepted payment methods, conditions for deductions and expected refund process should be confirmed before payment.
A deposit is not automatically a rental fee. Any deduction should be handled in accordance with the disclosed rental agreement, supporting information and applicable law. The actual time taken to release a deposit may depend on inspection, settlement of outstanding amounts and payment-provider processing.
Customers should pay only through an agreed, verifiable channel and keep receipts or transaction references. Never share banking passwords, PINs or one-time passwords with another person.
07 Pickup, Inspection and Vehicle Return
Before driving away, inspect the vehicle and record any visible scratches, dents, tyre issues, warning lights or other damage. Take date-stamped photographs where practical and report discrepancies to the responsible provider before departure.
Confirm the fuel or battery level, odometer reading, accessories, documents, emergency contact procedure and return location. Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place in accordance with the rental terms.
If you expect to be late, contact the provider as soon as reasonably possible. Any extension must be approved; simply sending a request does not automatically extend the rental. Late-return charges, where applicable, should be governed by the agreed terms and applicable law.
08 Permitted Use and Traffic Compliance
The vehicle must be driven responsibly and only for purposes permitted under the rental agreement. Drivers must obey traffic laws, speed limits, parking restrictions and lawful instructions.
Unless specifically permitted in writing, do not use the vehicle for racing, unlawful activity, unauthorised commercial use, towing, off-road driving or any activity prohibited by the provider. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, overload the vehicle or allow an unauthorised person to drive.
Confirm interstate travel, border restrictions, hill routes, restricted zones and any other route limitations before departure. The customer remains responsible for complying with applicable law during the journey.
09 Damage, Accidents, Fines and Emergencies
If an accident, breakdown, theft or other emergency occurs, first prioritise personal safety and contact emergency services where needed. Notify the responsible rental provider promptly and follow lawful reporting and documentation procedures.
Do not arrange major repairs, abandon the vehicle or make admissions on behalf of another party without appropriate guidance, except where immediate action is required for safety or by law.
Responsibility for damage, insurance excess, exclusions, penalties, tolls, parking fines and other costs depends on the rental agreement, relevant evidence, applicable insurance terms and law. No blanket allocation of liability in this summary replaces those specific conditions.
10 Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellation and rescheduling conditions can differ by vehicle, rental provider, booking time and payment status. Before confirming, request the applicable cancellation deadline, charges, refund eligibility and procedure in writing.
Do not assume that every booking is refundable or that a cancellation request automatically qualifies for a full refund. Any refund that is due should be handled according to the agreed terms and applicable law. Processing time can depend on the payment method and the organisations involved.
If a provider cannot supply a confirmed vehicle, contact the responsible party to clarify available alternatives and the applicable refund or remedy process.
11 Mileage, Fuel and Electric Vehicles
Confirm the included mileage, how excess kilometres are calculated, and the method used to record the starting and ending odometer readings. If the rental has a daily mileage limit, ask whether unused kilometres can be carried forward. Do not assume that this is allowed unless the terms say so.
For petrol, diesel or CNG vehicles, confirm the required return fuel level and any refuelling policy. For electric vehicles, clarify the starting and expected return charge, charging arrangements, charging costs, connector compatibility and any battery-related return conditions.
12 Personal Information and Communications
When you contact us, you may choose to provide details such as your name, phone number, requested location, travel dates and message so that your enquiry can be understood and handled. Please share only information reasonably needed for the enquiry and do not send unnecessary sensitive information through a general contact form.
If you continue the enquiry through WhatsApp or email, that communication is also subject to the relevant platform’s terms and privacy practices. Contact details submitted through the website should be handled according to the site’s applicable privacy notice and relevant law.
This page is not a substitute for a separate, complete Privacy Policy. Please review the website’s Privacy Policy for more information about data handling, retention and applicable rights.
13 Website Content and Third-Party Services
Website text, layout, branding and other original materials should not be copied or reused without permission where permission is required. Vehicle names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes where relevant.
The website may link to third-party platforms or services, including WhatsApp. External services are controlled by their respective operators. We cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability or independently control their policies. Review relevant third-party terms before using those services.
14 Service Limitations and Applicable Law
Website information is provided for general guidance and may change as vehicle options, prices and provider conditions change. We aim to present information clearly but do not guarantee that every displayed detail will apply to every rental or remain current indefinitely.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude a consumer right, legal remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any limitation of responsibility must be interpreted only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms should be interpreted under applicable Indian law where relevant. Any dispute will be handled by a competent forum in accordance with applicable law; this page does not create an unlawful restriction on a customer’s legal rights.
15 Changes to These Terms
We may update this page when our website information or processes change. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date where appropriate. Customers should review the terms relevant to their enquiry before accepting a new rental arrangement.
A change to the website text does not automatically rewrite an already agreed rental contract. The effect of any change on an existing booking is subject to the applicable agreement and law.
